StageAbility Essex is managed by Gary & Ann Sullivan who founded the school in 1992. Through a unique style of teaching and the provision of regular stage productions the school has grown to 11 weekly classes in the County as well as the recent addition of a number of franchised regions which follow the blue print designed by Gary & Ann.
The Weekly Drama classes have a sprinkling of dance and song too but what makes StageAbility different to many other stage schools is its focus on acting.
Drama is recognised for its confidence building abilities and through a mix of exercises, games, improvisations and drama related projects team work becomes part of the class as well as solo development.
Students can take from a class that which best suits them, for those who join us for the building of confidence our tutors are trained to encourage without pressure and for those who simply want to act we work to build upon existing talent and teach the skills required to perform. It’s a simple mix which suits everyone in a single environment which is full of energy and fun!
